On my desk: a Very Thingish Notebook

 

Two cardboard coasters I knew I'd never use (but who can throw away nice pieces of stiff cardboard?), a quote from The House at Pooh Corner, and a free afternoon turned into this Thingish Notebook. I bound it in some sort of loosely Coptic style, and the elastic band is quite necessary to keep it closed.
