Illustration Friday: Detective
"Who's been tasting my porridge?"
"Who's been sitting on my chair?"
"Who's been sleeping in my bed?"
"Who's been sleeping in my bed?"
Goldilocks and the Three Bears is most likely the first "whodunnit" story we hear as children. Nowadays my favorite detective reads are probably Dorothy Sayers' Lord Peter novels. Oh, and the Brother Cadfael series.
This is one of my new just-for-fun projects: one-page illustrations of familiar stories and fairy tales. I plan to color the pen-and-ink illustration digitally. Now to decide on the palette . . . .

Illustration Friday: Linked
Summertime at the lake. Reading a good book.
For me, these are linked together in some great memories!

Illustration Friday: Dip
The hardest part is getting up the courage to dip that first toe into the water.
(It's a digistamp, too!)

Magnetic Dollhouse
One of my projects this week has been drawing a set of magnetic dollhouse figures. I scanned in my pen and ink outlines and colored them digitally. Now I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of the finished magnets!
Illustration Friday: Rescue
This week my desk is drowning in random sketches and rough drawings, and sometimes I feel like I am, too! (Don't even ask my family--they've known for years that I need rescuing from my overabundance of ideas....)
