The Little Dressmaker (if: Forward)

The Footman and the Little Dressmaker from Eleanor Farjeon's story, "The Little Dressmaker." Here she models the Duchess's sunbeam gown--but she must look forward to tomorrow's ball and hurry home to finish the next dress!

This is my first Illustration Friday post for 2012.

  3. I love her curtsy, and her dress! It's so nice when people dress their characters really carefully and with details. I also like the hint of floor tiles.

  5. Thank you! I love costume design (my other business is designing vintage-style sewing patterns) so that often comes through in my characters' clothes. :)
