IF: Afterwards
November 10, 2010Over the summer I read The Wind in the Willows to my youngest sister. As we neared the end of the book I started to wonder . . . what happens afterwards? Toad will surely need a new hobby . . .
. . . perhaps stamp collecting?

Or perhaps not . . .

ReplyDeleteOh what fun. I love it! I would sure love to read 'The Wind and the Willows Afterwards' sequel.

ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done! I love the old-fashioned style and the soft colors. They look like they could have come from the time period when the original was written!
ReplyDeleteThank you all! I had fun looking through my annotated Wind in the Willows to see how different illustrators have interpreted the characters. My favorites were Ernest H. Shepard and Arthur Rackham--but no surprise there!
